Taking that first step toward therapy is often difficult, but healing is possible! I would be honored to be the therapist that walks beside you on your healing path. As someone who has had a passion for mental health from a young age, I am deeply committed to promoting mental well-being and empowering my clients to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
I serve clients 16 years old and up while focusing on therapeutic approaches that include EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness while remaining empathic, open-minded, and trustworthy.
I have experience in areas that include trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as substance use. In addition, I have a unique passion for helping those who have been incarcerated work toward reintegration into society and work through their experiences with the criminal justice and correctional systems. These include overcoming their traumas and navigating the challenges of reintegration, such as healing from the violent corrections environment, meeting requirements set forth by the state (probation, parole, etc.), and gaining healthy relationships and boundaries.
I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Forensic Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology in 2019 and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Alabama in 2022. I also have two years of experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis as a Registered Behavior Technician with children.
